Cape Town Street Scenes
School's out, Surf's up
Some drive-by shooting I did in Cape Town - I call them my 'Paparazzi' photos, except that they're not of famous people so I can't make any money from them.
I've popped in here from a promo of your blog on Lynda's (Tanzania)blog. I'm pleased to meet you and love your photos. I'm a fellow [South] African who lives in North Africa for much of the year. My husband and I worked on the diamond mines of Oranjemund in the nineties and took a trip to Namibia on our motorbike last November. What a well-run and progressive country Namibia is. Kind regards. Jo
Howzit Jo ... thanks for the visit and kind comments - pleased to meet you too ... I'm often at Rosh Pinah near Oranjemund - I'm glad you enjoyed your Namibian visit and hope that you'll come again ... also hope that you'll visit my blog again
'Drive by shooting' ... ha ha ;) Well, maybe for just a second, some of these people felt like celebrities when you took their photos :)
ReplyDeleteHi Boss, just catching up with posts. Love the depth of colour your images give, they cheer up the grey days in britland.
ReplyDeleteLooks fun!
ReplyDeleteI love these photos. I've never been to Cape Town. How far is this from where you live in Namibia?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the continued visits and comments Friends ... a few more weeks and I'll be back in spayce again ...
ReplyDelete... when I'm in the desert I'm 800 km (500 miles) from Cape Town ... right now, probably about 2400 km away ...
