Take My Pick!
Often, when people see my camera, they strike a pose or approach me and ask me to take their pics, knowing full well that we won't meet again and that they'll never get a print - here are a few of them:
It is strange how I found the same thing in Africa that almost everyone wanted you to take a picture. The fact that they would never see it did not seem to matter. In Europe it is the opposite, people do not like having photos taken normally, and sometimes it is quite difficult to take pictures of stalls etc when the owners are so anti. Diane
I'm thinking some might get access to the web in a public place if not at home, so you should give them your blog address to possibly see their picture.
The Namibian people are very beautiful and handsome. Wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteThese are great! I quite like the idea of having a snap of someone who I'll never see again who just wandered into my life at a certain moment...
ReplyDeleteThe three young ladies in the top shot have very evocative faces, fair bit of joy and grief in there I suspect?
ReplyDeleteCiao Graham, I am glad they ask you to take a picture, because they have beautiful faces and thanks your shots I can see them.
ReplyDeleteHave a good day

ReplyDeleteThey are all loving your camera! Some people do not like photos taken. Glad to see them happy and enjoying the moment of attention:))
ReplyDeleteI love that attitude! It would be shocking if someone asked to have their picture taken here in the US.--Inger
