The colors of the land and the sky are so creamy, I especially like the first one , the abandoned house...makes me want to do a painting of it.

Yes, the light here can be very harsh, many photographers use filters and most of the pics I've seen of Namibian landscapes have been significantly darkened ...
I only use a normal UV filter and that's mainly to protect my lens as I'm hanging out a car window snapping away.
I may have some more images of that particular house and if you do do a painting of it, please show the end result ...
